Antique German 1890’s German Turkish Ottoman WW1 Bayonet with serial number 24913 with Metal Scabbard. This is one of those rare pieces given to the Turks pre WW1. The significance and rarity of this bayonet are the actual markings being the Turkish Ay Yildiz stamping which represents the Crescent and Moon. Also on the top part of the body is an Arabic inscription perhaps an Islamic prayer.
What makes this bayonet different is the significance of the end of an era being the Ottoman Empire. A definite must for the discerning collector looking for that rare collectable item.
