Hand Cast in brass using the ‘Lost Wax Technique’ these boxes are replicas of an ancient Indian metal craft technique known as Dhokra work. This method is still used by tribal artists in central India. Brass figural trinket boxes were used to store precious jewelry and coins. With brilliant patina this old vintage trinket box represents Eastern Cultural Ethnic art and will certainly be a lovely addition as an attractive ornament.
